Missing Persons Commission (MPC) has disposed of 4593 cases till June 30, 2020. According to report issued by Farid Ahmad Khan secretary missing persons commission 12 new cases on missing persons were received by the commission till June 2020 taking the total tally of enforced disappearances to 668. The cases stood at 6674 till May, 30,2020. The commission disposed of 4593 missing persons cases till June 30,2020 due to personal efforts of Justice Javed Iqbal , chairman missing persons commission. The number of missing persons stand at 2093 till todate. The hearing regarding missing persons will be held in commission in line with the law after reviewing the lock down policies of federal and provincial governments so that implementation of all preventive measures against corona could be ensured. The commission disposed of 4593 missing persons cases till June 30, 2020. In order to ensure safe return of these persons to their homes, chairman commission Justice Javed Iqbal and other members of the commission not only heard the stance of families of these persons at personal level but also they made efforts for the early recovery of these missing persons.
