An emergency summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) should be called to discuss the prevailing alarming situation in Kashmir, Palestine and against the attacks of Houthi rebel tribes at oil reservoirs in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), said Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi.
The enemies of Islam and Muslims are hatching organised conspiracies to cause instability and anarchy in the Muslim world, he said on Sunday while talking to the media and representatives of different religious schools of thought in Jamia Masjid Maaz bin Jabal.
Meeting to discuss situation in Kashmir, Palestine and drone strikes in KSA
The time had come to foil the conspiracies being made against the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the sanctity of Haramain Al-Sharifain, Ashrafi said.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia own a united stance for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine, he said adding that the Houthi rebel tribes had put world peace on stake by making targeted drone strikes in Saudi Arabia. The enemies of Islam and Muslims are making organised moves to target Islamic counties, the chairman added.
OIC to devise mechanism to keep check on Houthi rebels and their supporters
Oil reservoirs in Saudi Arabia are being targeted by Houthi rebel tribes and action should be taken against them and their supporters. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will not desist from their stance on Kashmir and Palestine, he said.
The enemies of Islam and Muslims with the connivance of other infidels are conspiring to target Saudi Arabia, said Ashrafi. He warned that the Muslim world would not tolerate targeted attacks on KSA and also demanded the Muslim leadership to call an emergency meeting of the OIC, so that immediate action could be taken against the Houthi rebel tribes and their supporters.
The PUC, government and people of Pakistan assured KSA that Pakistan was willing to take every action to ensure the security and sanctity of Haramain Al-Sharifain and the country. The people of Pakistan will not desist to sacrifice themselves for peace, security and the sanctity of Haramain Al-Sharifain.
