Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar along with Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and provincial ministers participated in a public demonstration in front of Punjab Assembly to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
Governor Ch Sarwar announced to take ‘Lift Curfew in Kashmir’ campaign to the world and also announced to write letters to European parliamentarians against the curfew in Kashmir. Slogans like “Pakistan Zindabad”, “Kashmir Banay ga Pakistan”, “India end Curfew”, “We are with Kashmiris” echoed on Mall Road. One-minute silence was also observed against the atrocities committed by India and to show solidarity with Kashmiris.
According to details, this Friday on the appeal of PM Imran Khan, people showed full solidarity with Kashmiris in Lahore like other cities of country. In this regard, in front of Punjab Assembly Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar, CM Punjab Usman Buzdar, PTI Punjab President Ijaz Chaudhry, Provincial Ministers Raja Basharat, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Yasir Humayun, Ansar Majeed Khan, Hashim Jawan Bakht, Chief Secretary, IG police and hundreds of people participated in the demonstration who were holding flags of Pakistan and Kashmir and placards bearing pro Kashmir slogans to show solidarity and anti Modi slogans to condemn Indian atrocities. At this occasion participants chanted slogans in support of Kashmiris and their independence movement and against Indian illegal occupation, special prayers were made for the success of freedom movement in Kashmir and end of Indian atrocities.
Governor Ch Sarwar said that “lift curfew from Kashmir” campaign will be taken to every corner of the world and on diplomatic front India will be forced to end curfew. He said that Pakistan’s nation, by showing solidarity with Kashmir, made a pledge to support them through life and death and every kid of Pakistan is ready to sacrifice for Kashmir and that day is not far when Indian Atrocities will end and Kashmir will become part of Pakistan. He said even after 3 weeks India has still imposed curfew and big institutions like BBC are bringing up proof of Indian soldiers atrocities and torture in audio video shapes, India cannot hide the human right violations and genocide in Kashmir from the world. He said as per Prime Minister Imran Khan’s announcement, different events will be organized to show solidarity with Kashmiris. Even today, nation came out on the streets on the call of Imran Khan and by showing solidarity with Kashmiri, gave a message to the world that we are with Kashmiris till our last breath.
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that Indian Atrocities on Kashmiris are unprecedented in the history and today nation gave message to the world that Pakistan is with Kashmiris. Pakistan and Kashmir are one and will remain one. He said that Modi government has increased the act of barbarianism in Kashmir. So-called champion of democracy India has crushed democratic norms in Kashmir and success will be with Kashmiris.
