The federal government, on Wednesday, appointed Mohammad Younus Dagha as Finance Secretary in a notification. It was said that the Federal Cabinet had been extended with the appointment of the new Finance Secretary. Dagha has been serving as the Federal Secretary for Commerce and would assume his new office on March 22.
Born on April 23, 1962, the new secretary is a seasoned civil servant, who joined the Government of Pakistan in 1985. His experience varies from fields of energy, finance, commerce, international trade and public administration. Dagha holds post-graduate degrees in business administration, economics, law and commerce, making him suitable for the multifaceted assignments in his career.
