Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law & Anti-Corruption, Barrister Murtaza Wahab has condemned an incident of manhandling of media persons by PTI in Tharparkar and strongly reprimanded them for branding independent media personnel as PPP agents. He said that PTI had forgotten the fact that media is the fourth pillar of the state. While talking to reporters in the media corner of the Sindh Assembly on Friday, the Advisor also condemned the government for closing Chhachhro Town on arrival of the Prime Minister. He said this was a contradiction to what the PM had been preaching about security protocols and was a violation of human rights. He even condemned the government for increasing unemployment. He alleged that it took seven months for our PM to feel the pain of the people of Thar, why couldn’t he remember Thar when the drought emergency was declared in Tharparkar. The people are still waiting for the fulfillment of promises made with them, five months back by the governor of Sindh.
