A mild earthquake jolted the Kalat, Balochistan and its surrounding areas on Monday, second consecutive day but no property damages or casualties were reported.
According to the geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department, tremors measuring 4.4 on Richter Scale were felt in Kalat and its surroundings.
Locals rushed out of their homes, shops and buildings in panic but no property damage or casualty was reported.
The epi-centre of the quake was stated to be 50 kilometre north of Kalat, at a depth of 18km.
Earlier on Sunday, an earthquake of magnitude 2.9 had jolted Kalat and surroundings which resulted in wall collapses and damages to dilapidated houses in some areas.
