CHISHTIAN: Head Constable Faheem and Assistant Superintendent Kashif were suspended and later arrested for allegedly raping their female colleague.
In a First Information Report (FIR), the survivor claims that Faheem took her to a house in Chak 15 Gayjani on the pretext of apprehending a female criminal.
On arrival, the survivor found that Kashif was already there. The two then drugged and physically assaulted her.
The accused also made a video of the whole incident, which they later used to blackmail the survivor.
The survivor also claims that Faheem vowed to end the blackmailing if she agreed to marry her.
The survivor, however, chose to stand up to this blatant incident of patriarchy and instead lodged a FIR against the perpetrators.
It is pertinent to note that the FIR was lodged at a separate police station, and not at the one where the accused and the survivor worked, since that police station refused to lodge the complaint.
