LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Javed Naseem on Wednesday announced his departure from the party to Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid.
The MPA from Peshawar announced his decision in a press conference with PML-Q heads Shujaat Hussain and Pervaiz Elahi, who welcomed Naseem to the party.
Speaking on occasion, Shujaat said that “PML-Q’s doors are open for everyone. We respect all the new comers and continue to provide a platform to politicians from around the country to join our cause.”
“We have always worked with noble intentions and will continue to do so. During our 5-year reign in Punjab, we did more than PML-Nawaz ever did during their 23-year span on different occasions,” Shujaat added.
Pervaiz Elahi also welcomed the newcomers saying that “PML-Q is an ideal platform and we even invite PML-N lawmakers to join us. Other politicians might aim for money, but our main objective is welfare of the general public,” Elahi added.
