LAHORE: Paragon City scam investigation took a major turn as National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has extended its investigations in the case against Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique.
NAB has requested for details of their bank accounts and transactions by writing a letter to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
In the letter, NAB has requested SBP to direct all banks under their jurisdiction to search accounts and submit records and details of all accounts, active or closed, finance facilities, lockers, credit cards or any other facilities.
They have demanded complete information showing the trail of all debit/credit transaction of amounts of Rs 500,000 and above from their accounts from 1985 till now.
NAB has demanded the documents to be submitted till April 3. State Bank has not provided any details as yet.
