Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Pakistan will hold training sessions on constitution and law making for the parliamentarians of Punjab who got elected for the first time, in November. A pre training session was conducted by former MPA Ayesha Javed. The session was attended by chairman Public Accounts Committee MPA Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari, Minister irrigation Sardar Mohsin Laghari, MPA Syed Ali Haider Gillani, MPA Makhdoom Usman Mahmood, MPA Sohaib Ahmed Malik, and Rana Manan Khan. Birgit Lamm, Country Head at Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Pakistan said that they are holding sessions for the parliamentarians belonging to all political parties. She also said that such type of sessions will be conducted in Sindh, Balochistan and KPK as well in the second stage. MPA Ayesha Javed said that former Punjab law and parliamentary affairs secretary Dr Syed Abul Hassan Najmi will be the trainer of the session going to be held on November 6. She also said that after attending such kind of sessions the members will be able to understand Rule of Procedures and Conduct of Business in assembly, Constitution of Pakistan, Legislative Terminology and Parliamentary norms for the members and staff of the provincial Assembly.
