At least 332 more dengue fever cases were reported across Karachi city in last 24 hours, taking the toll to 7,670 this year. Spokesman Prevention and Control Program for Dengue (PCPD) Sindh, while talking to PPI, informed that as many as 349 new dengue fever cases surfaced throughout Sindh province in a day, out of them 332 were detected in Karachi and 17 in other districts. In October, a total of 4,940 dengue positive cases were reported across the province out of which 4,626 were confirmed from Karachi and 314 from other districts. A total of 22 people have died of dengue fever in Karachi city this year so far. In 2019, a total of 8,157 dengue cases were detected in Sindh province so far out of which, 7,670 were reported in Karachi and 487 in other districts.
