One terrorist was killed in an exchange of fire with police in Karachi late on Friday. Four terrorists, riding two motorcycles, hurled a hand grenade on a police mobile near Chakar Hotel, near the Super Highway. Police chased them and fired shots at them. One of the attackers was killed, while the other three managed to escape. Briefing reporters, the Malir SSP said that two policemen had also been wounded in exchange of fire with terrorists. The injured policemen were identified as ASI Hayat and constable Azmat. The police mobile was partially damaged in the attack.
