Police arrested the brother of former Sindh governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad, Amir-ul-Ebad from Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi. According to the reports, he was arrested over a bounced cheque.
The reports provided by the police stated that the lawyer Tariq Niazi initially filed a first information report (FIR) regarding the bounced cheque worth Rs4 million. Amir was arrested over this FIR.
The police further added, “We are questioning suspect Amir-ul-Ebad right now.”
