The Sindh Assembly on Wednesday unanimously passed a resolution praising Pakistan Armed Forces and their preparedness for defence of the soil.
The resolution, moved by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Omar Omari, reads: “This House praises the preparedness and professionalism of its Armed Forces and endorses all measures undertaken by our Armed Forces in defence. The House also celebrates the maturity of political leadership across the country and hope this unity will prevail…This house once again resolves that we are a peace loving nation and denounce war, terrorism or any act of aggression but reserve the right to self-defence or retaliation.”
Sindh cabinet condemns violation of air space by Indian forces
Meanwhile, the chief minister presented a resolution before the cabinet to condemn violation of Pakistan’s air space by Indian air force. The resolution reads as “This cabinet condemns the violation of Pakistani air space by the Indian air force’ and termed it as a brazen violation of international law. The cabinet also rejected the false and malicious propaganda of India against Pakistan and has resolved that the government and the people of Sindh stand united against any possible India aggression. The cabinet also appreciated the well rounded and measured response of Pakistan armed forces against claims and remains committed to defend our great country along with the Armed Forces. He urged the Indian side to think and answer keeping in view that both sides are nuclear-armed and cannot afford miscalculation if they go for a war.
