Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and PPP’s Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed warned the government on Thursday not to use institutions to fulfill personal vendettas. Addressing a press conference at the PPP Central Secretariat, they said that the Labour Union is not responsible for the destruction of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and should not be held responsible in this matter. The government has paved way for the removal of the Trade Union from the WTO and GP Plus by banning it, they added. PPP Unity President Hidayatullah Khan, Ramazan Leghari, Sohail Mukhtar and Mansoor Dhilon were also present on the occasion. Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and Manzoor Ahmed said that the government is willing to pay Rs 2 million to the legal advisors for PIA but no new planes are being purchased.
