Norwegian Ambassador to Pakistan Kjell-Gunnar Eriksen Wednesday visited the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) National Headquarters here. PRCS Vice-Chairman Naguib Ullah Malik, Treasurer Syed Mumtaz Haider Rizvi, members managing body Mian Abdul Rauf and Brig (r) Abdul Hadi and Secretary General Khalid Bin Majeed welcomed the ambassador.
Naguib Ullah Malik briefed the visiting dignitary about the PRCS history, organizational structure, initiatives and operations being carried out by the organization.
Senior officials from the PRCS and Norwegian Embassy were also present on the occasion.
Later, the Norwegian envoy visited differesnt departments of the PRCS. He penned his impressions in the visitors’ book. The ambassador examined the ambulances and also visited the regional blood donor center and praised the humanitarian efforts being undertaken by the organisation. Later, Naguib Ullah Malik presented a memento to the ambassador.
