PESHAWAR: District Nazim Asim Khan has claimed that all possible resources would be utilized to make the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa a model city.
District Nazim presided over the meeting to evaluate the ongoing progress of the two main projects including Peshawar up lift programme and Peshawar beatification project.
The City Nazim said the Beatification of Peshawar Project and Peshawar Uplift Programme are most vital schemes initiated by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for bringing back the age for calling Peshawar the City of Flowers.
The meeting was attended by Town one Nazim Zahid Khan, Director Coordination Sahib Zada Mohammad Tariq, XEN Town one Rasheedullah, EXEN highways Aziz Ahmad along with the other Engineers and technical staffs of the both projects.
District Nazim Asim Khan said that a walking track would be build along the Ring Road Chowk while street sodium lights will be installed on Grand Trunk Road, Dalazak Road, City Circular Road and Outer Circular Roads of the provincial capital.
He added all the development works carried out in Peshawar are part of the two mega Schemes. They would be enhanced and supported for further beatification of the Provincial Capital Peshawar.
The City Nazim Asim Khan who is also government focal person of the two projects claimed that all of the developmental work would be complete soon.
He said the KP government has taken keen interest and allocated extra resources to gain the position to achieve and witness possible change in the daily routine of Peshawar City.
He added we have to ensure that the real beauty of Peshawar by keeping eye on the departments working for the cleanliness and elimination of waste materials.
The City Nazim informed the meeting that KP government want on time completion of these projects along efficiency in the procedure to carry out these projects in record time and under a record budget.
