ISLAMABAD: US Republican party leader of Pakistani origin Sajid Tarar and Sikh community leader Jasdip Singh on Friday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The Prime Minister and republican leaders discussed Muslim community’s role in the United States. They thanked PM Imran for opening of the Kartarpur Corridor.
Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and Special aide to PM Naeem-ul-Haq were also present on the occasion.
Earlier today, President of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Maria Fernanda Espinosa met Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The UNGA president and Foreign Minister discussed the Kashmir issue and other regional matters during the meeting.
