ISLAMABAD: Zafar Iqbal Awan Police General Inspector declares that peace is prevailed in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) by the joint efforts of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and people.
While addressing the certificates distributing ceremony of Niat volunteer Force in Chilas on Wednesday, he stated, “About one million tourists visited in Gilgit Baltistan last year and seventy percent of them reached Gilgit Baltistan via Babusar route.”
He praised the role of Chilas Volunteer Force and commented that due to their peace efforts and good coordination with law enforcement Agencies, there have been no reports related to disturbing incidents from Babusar Area.
