The wife of a French diplomat reported to police that she was standing in front of her home when an unidentified motorcyclist tried to rob her at gunpoint.
As soon as the information was received, SP City Zone registered a case on the direction of Umar Khan and started arresting the accused.
Under the supervision of ASP Dr. Aqeela, SHO Kohsar Police Station Shabbir Ahmed Tanoli and team started searching for the accused.
With the help of modern technology and safe city cameras, the accused was traced and arrested. Motorcycles, Arms and ammunition were recovered from the possession.
The French Embassy appreciated the performance of the Kohsar police team, said Islamabad police spokesperson.
