The Judicial Commission has approved the appointment of three new judges in the Islamabad High Court (IHC). The Judicial Commission meeting was chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa at the Supreme Court (SC). The Judicial Commission approved the names of Advocate Ghulam Azam Qambrani from Balochistan, Fayyaz Ahmed Jandran from Islamabad and Lubna Pervez from Sindh. Lubna Pervez will be the first woman judge of the IHC. The Judicial Commission has referred the matter to the Parliamentary Committee for final approval.
