Police in KPK tribal district have arrested a teacher of a private school in the murder case of a seventh grader in Jamrud.
Kashif Afridi was kidnapped, sexually abused and murdered in Khyber district. The family of the deceased child called for the criminals to be brought to justice.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police acted swiftly against the criminal and arrested him in less than a week. The murderer has been identified as Roedad Afridi who turned out to be the teacher of deceased child.

The suspect told the investigators that he was not happy with Kashif for having friendship with some other people, whom he believed were not of good character.
The official said that police also recovered a 30-bore pistol, an empty bullet casing and the motorbike used by the alleged killer in the crime. He said that Kashif’s mobile phone, which the suspect had tried to burn down to destroy data, was also seized by police.
Kashif Afridi was a student of class 7th. Following this inhumane act, different social media activists and student’s federations had raised their voices for him. The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police deserves full credit for catching the murderer soon.
