The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday announced its judgement on three petitions seeking recounting of votes in one National Assembly and two provincial assembly constituencies. A two-member bench of the SHC heard the pleas and announced its decision consists of 18 pages. The court dismissed Shehbaz Sharif’s petition against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA-elect Faisal Vawda. The court also overruled a petition moved by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Salheen against PTI MPA Malik Shahzad Awan. However, another petition filed by Nusrat Anwar against the PTI MPA-elect Muhammad Abbas Jafri has also been dismissed by the court.
