A Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Bannu on Saturday. According to sources, the CTD officer Asif had come home in Bannu for vacations after offering intelligence duty in Razmak when he was killed. The suspects soon fled the scene while the police have conducted search operations.
