Another human trafficking racket run by Chinese nationals was busted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday.
FIA detained seven people including three Chinese nationals in Rawalpindi accountable of trafficking Pakistani girls to China through illegal marriages. The leader of the gang was also arrested, who was a Chinese national Song Chuaoyang.
The Deputy Director FIA Kamran Ali told that there are many Chinese involved in the fake marriages scam and later trafficked the woman to China for prostitution and organ removal.
Another gang of Chinese nationals involved in human trafficking by contracting marriages was caught by the FIA on Monday at the Allama Iqbal airport Lahore.
The Deputy Director FIA Jamil Ahmad Khan Mayo told that they arrested eight Chinese nationals from Lahore airport and certain other areas on the allegations of trafficking young women to China after marrying them. The officials also claimed that the Pakistani agents that provided assistance to the Chinese for trafficking the young Pakistani women were also arrested.
The officials further claimed that the leader of this racket is the son of a Punjab Police officer. He is said to have fled when the raid was conducted for his arrest. “The suspected leader has acquired interim bail until May 13,” told the officials.
