Project Alloy – a venture under Student Taskforce Against COVID19 announced immediate availability of their e-marketplace, rapid and cost-effective access to medical equipment for healthcare facilities.
“Pareshaani ke waqt dost, Corona ke waqt Alloy,” said Faiza Urooj, Co-founder at Project Alloy- a venture under Student Taskforce Against COVID19.
Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the need for PPE and medical equipment has skyrocketed, creating a massive demand-supply mismatch in these markets.
We aim to solve this by allowing relevant suppliers (e.g. those who supply PPE and other lifesaving healthcare equipment), and hospitals to directly interface with each other to procure the required materials, thus enhancing time efficiency, lessening shipment damage and reducing tax costs. Lastly and most importantly; we aim to protect our healthcare workers.
Project Alloy is a free-of-cost online Healthcare distribution platform that aims to connect PPE/equipment suppliers and manufacturers with the Hospitals and Essential Organizations that need it the most. It is a project under the Student Taskforce Against COVID19- which is an organization run by medical and allied students.
We have verified, national level suppliers on the platform as well as well reputed NGOs that are aiding healthcare facilities in acquiring the equipment they so desperately need. This is a one-to-one e-commerce marketplace, it’s completely non-profit and currently free of charge because the objective remains to get requisite material to those in need as fast as possible.
