An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of a case pertaining to the murder of Barrister Fahad Malik who was murdered in 2016. The ATC Judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi resumed the hearing whereas the prosecution disclosed that police was unable to produce the case properly on the day due to some special duties and urged for adjournment which the judge accepted and granted the same. Two prosecution witnesses, investigation officers Muhammad Yousaf and Abdul Rashid were present in the court which had already deposed their testimony but the cross examination was pending for the day.
Two eye-witnesses Malik Hussnain and Malik Tariq had already testified before the court. Three accused, including Arshad Mahmood, Nauman Khokhar and Raja Hashim, had been indicted in the case. The hearing was adjourned until February 6.
