RAWALPINDI: Pakistan conducted successful test of an enhanced range version of the Babur cruise missile, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Saturday.
According to the ISPR, the weapon system consists of advanced aerodynamics and avionics that can strike targets both at land and sea with high accuracy at a range of 700 kilometres.

It was added that the missile incorporates state of the art navigation technologies like Terrain Contour Matching (TERCOM) and Digital Scene Matching and Area Co-relation (DSMAC) which helps in enhancing its capabilities and accuracy.
According to the the army media wing, President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi congratulated the scientists and engineers on successful test of the cruise missile.
