LAHORE: Four people including two Afghan nationals were apprehended after police carried out search operations in different localities of Lahore in the early hours of Friday.
Qilla Gujjar Singh, Mohammad Nagarm, Iqbal Town, Garhi Shahu and areas near the IG’s office were where the operations were conducted and police reportedly scrutunised bus stands , informal settlements and apartments near Bandar Road.
The identity of about 200 hundred people was biometrically verified and the detained Afghans were arrested and cases were registered against them after they failed to provide any identification identity.
