RAWALPINDI: Around 134 employees working on contract basis for over 10 years in Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) have now been regularised.
A notification by WASA was issued in this regard while certificates related to regularisation were distributed among the 134 employees.
The employees were working in various departments of WASA for over 10 years and were in anxious wait for the regularisation of their service.
The regularisation case of these employees had been pending for the last 10-13 years. The regularised employees included sub-engineers, stenographers, senior clerks, junior clerks, computer operators, tube well operators, bill distributors, mosque clerics, guards, naib-qasid and sewerage cleaners.
