Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, former interior minister of Pakistan, totally denies all such reports regarding the secret meeting held between him and PM Imran Khan. He said; neither I have met Prime Minister Imran Khan, nor I am up for joining the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). As per some reports, Ch. Nisar is being crowned as the next chief minister of Punjab, although the PTI leadership has scraped the NEWS.
On another news, PM Imran Khan also said that he had met Chaudhry Nisar, which further put the speculations. While talking to the BBS Urdu particularly, Khan said that since the last three or four days he has been in his village, Chakri, on further asking how he could have met the prime minister.
Khan stated that he had in fact not met Prime Minister Imran Khan for one year.
When asked if he would participate in the March 27 rally of the PTI in Islamabad, Khan said that he has not received any invitation and neither does he plan to attend it. He further added that he does not change parties for short-term gains.
In the light of the 2018 election, Khan said that since he didn’t get a ticket from the Pakistan Muslim League-N to contest, he did not join any political party thereafter, and neither was he in a hurry to join one now. The former interior minister added, even though Imran Khan was a friend from Aitchison College, their politics were entirely different. And I am not joining PTI.
