District administration along with TMA Abbottabad staff has sealed 13 shops over the violation of SOPs by the shopkeepers and general public for not maintenance the social distance and not use of mask and hand gloves here on Wednesday which includes seven cloths, 6 garments and one shoes shop. Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad on the ease of lock down visited Abbottabad city bazaars with TOR (Taxation Officer Revenue) Mazhar Awan who in repeated announcement through mega phone and loudspeaker made announcement for the SOP’s and advised both the shopkeepers and buyers to follow the instructions. However it was noticed that in most of the shops, these were overcrowded with lot of buyers and majority of the buyers were not wearing the mask. Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad Dr.Mujtaba Barhawana sealed the shops and warned the shopkeepers to be given more harsh legal punishment over the failure. TMA staff also affixed marks in the front of shops and also in the shops to make points for the buyers to keep social distance. Special price monitoring teams also raided some of the shops and inquired about the rates and were directed for the full fledge implementation of the prices fixed by the district administration.
