Air Force Day reminds us of lionhearted and fearless pilots who had overpowered the enemy with the passion of faith, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Saturday. Dr Awan paid tribute to veteran officers Rashid Minhas and MM Alam and called them “a symbol of courage of the Pakistan Air Force”. “The entire nation salutes their heroes; the way the nation has celebrated Defence Day in solidarity with the Kashmiris is matchless,” she said. The nation paid rich tribute to the martyrs and the ghazis with inspired spirits, Awan added. She saluted the Pakistani nation for expressing their true feelings for Kashmiris and supporting the legitimate rights of people of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK). She urged the nation to maintain this unity and solidarity which would make Pakistan an impregnable force.
