Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader MNA Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah said that his party doesn’t want to dislodge the government. Shah speaking to reporters said Nawaz Sharif was let go in the case he should have been sentenced and sentenced in the case he should have been let go. He predicted that Nawaz Sharif would be given bail soon due to his bad condition. He further added that PPP did not want to change the current political system as his leadership has given sacrifices for the democracy. Emphasising that his party was not looking to overthrow the government, he added that the country was destroyed to a lack of democracy; while Pakistan’s well being is tied with democracy. When asked about Sheikh Rasheed, the PPP leader replied that no one took him seriously.
