A 26-year-old Pakistani citizen, Azeem, embraced martyrdom by unprovoked firing by Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control in Bagsar Sector on Monday, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The Pakistan army’s media wing said that a woman was also critically injured in the Indian firing targeting civil population.
It added that Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to those posts targeting civil population.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Foreign Office on Monday summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control.
In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesman Dr. Mohammad Faisal said Indian forces along the Line of Control and the Working boundary were continuously targeting civilian populated areas.
He said the deliberate targeting of civilian population was indeed deplorable and contrary to human dignity, international human rights and humanitarian laws.
