NAUNDERO: The residents of village Hameer Shar, located in between Naundero and Garhi Khuda Bux, are still awaiting development schemes in this world of science and technology. They erected a large banner at the entrance of their village for all the contesting candidates saying that they will cast their votes in favour of that candidate who undertakes to provide us all fundamental rights and necessary development schemes after being elected. The village is located over the embankment of Saidu Shakh (drain) and they even don’t have a bridge to cross to reach the main road. Villagers Shahnawaz Shar, Nawab Ali Shar, Hanif Shar, Ali Gul Shar and others held protest demonstration in the village and then told newsmen that their village is located near Naundero but we are still awaiting development schemes as if we are living in Tharparkar. They said one of their aged man named Muharam Ali Shar expired three days ago and they took the body over their shoulders and crossed Saidu Shakh (drain) and then his final rites were performed and he was laid to rest and this we are continuing since long without any notice by concerned higher authorities so far, they alleged sorrowfully. They said that so far not a single elected representative of national or provincial assembly has given us any uplift scheme which has exposed their working. They said being poor in this world is a great sin because humans have reached the moon but they are still demanding sewerage drains, pavers and other necessities. They said that their village is located in between Rice Canal and Saidu Shakh but we have not yet been provided a bridge to cross the Shakh due to which we always face worst difficulties when someone in the village expires adding they take the body over their shoulders and cross the drain as if we are living in stone age. The villagers further said that during deliveries or other ailments they undergo serious mental torture when we take the indisposed people after walking long way around. They said that womenfolk and children suffer the most. They further said that since past ten years we have been voting for PPP but Faryal Talpur has never visited this village to inquire about our necessities, sufferings and requirements not she has given any scheme. They vowed not to cast votes to those who have done nothing for them but will give all votes to the candidates who undertake to provide us all fundamental rights.
