ISLAMABAD: South Waziristan Assistant Political Officer (APO) Muhammad Shoaib Khan on Saturday said that the last phase of repatriation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of South Waziristan would be completed soon.
Talking to media, the APO said that the returning IDPs were being provided with aid. He said the government was giving Rs 10,000 to each IDP for transportation besides Rs 25,000 and food items to each family.
Moreover, the official informed media that the government was providing RS 400,000 to those families whose houses have been destroyed completely while Rs 140,000 was being given to those families whose houses have been partially destroyed.
