SWAT: At least eleven security officials were martyred on Saturday in a suicide attack targeting the Army unit in Tehsil Kabal, confirmed Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to ISPR, thirteen other security personnel were injured during an attack on the sports area of the armed unit. The security forces sealed the area after the attack took place, while the injured were rushed to a hospital in Saidu Sharif.
Banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack in an e-mail, warning to carry out similar attacks in the future.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi condemned the attack in a statement saying that the terrorists can not deter the country’s resolve via cowardly attacks. He also prayed for the martyrs and wished speedy recovery to the injured.

Radio Pakistan (@RadioPakistan) said in their message that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemns the attack and wishes the injured a speedy recover: Punjab Chief Minister prayed for the speedy recovery of those who were injured in Swat suicide attack.
