A man and his two grandsons passed away when the roof of a room caved in here in Pased Khel, the bordering area of Landi Kotal, on Tuesday night due to downpour. The administration and local sources informed that last night roof of a room of the house of one, Saleem Khan, resident of Awal Khan Kelly, Pased Khel fell down and he along with his two grandsons were buried under the debris. Soon after the incident the neighbours rushed to the site and retrieved the injured however Saleem Khan died on the spot while the two minor children identified as Fawad, 07 and Hewad, 05 were rushed to headquarter hospital, Landi Kotal for medical but succumbed to their injuries. Meanwhile, four members of a family – a couple and their two daughters – died when the roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rain in Swabi on Wednesday, police said. According to details, heavy downpour lashed different areas of Swabi on Tuesday-Wednesday night resultantly roof of a house located in Yar Hussain area caved in. Four members of family including husband, wife and their two one and half year old twin daughters died in the incident. The local people on self-help basis pulled out the bodies from the debris and shifted them to hospital.
