The accused, who was arrested on the charges of allegedly chasing a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) deputy director, has been released after the written statement by the NAB officer. The case of chasing NAB Deputy Director Asad Janjua ended on its initial investigation. The complaint filed in Police Station Ramna by the Asad Janjua, who rose to fame for arresting Asif Zardari, Faryal Talpur and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, saying a suspicious tinted glass car chased him. Under the section 341, 188 and 506 the case was registered and later the persons sitting in the car was arrested and shifted to the police station, however, after the initial investigation, it revealed that the car has tinted glasses and nothing else. After the written statement by the NAB officer, the accused was released.
