Islamabad: Opposition will move a resolution on Tuesday against Chairman Senate to Senate Secretary.
The 11-member opposition’s anti-government Rahbar Committee had announced consensus to remove the chairman Senate.
Following the meeting, opposition parties are set to submit a no-trust motion against Sanjrani as efforts to ramp up pressure on the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government gain pace.
The motion will be submitted by the opposition’s Rehbar Committee – formed last week after another round of the All Parties Conference. Prior to its submission, PPP and PML-N senators are expected to sign the resolution during the meeting.
The Rahbar Committee also mulled over the name of the new opposition leader in Senate.
