Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is moving ahead for economic self-reliance with firm determination under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Usman Buzdar said that provision of basic facilities to countrymen besides solution of their problems is a priority agenda of the government and our every moment is spent to provide better facilities to the people.
He said that the PTI government has given priority to national interests, instead of caring for personal interests and we are working with full commitment to solve the problems of the general public.
The Chief Minister said that public service is the only agenda and the PTI government will materialise the dream of a new Pakistan. He said that the government is taking concrete steps for the welfare of the masses because nothing is dearer to us than the welfare and the prosperity of the people. Regrettably, the past rulers ignored the genuine problems of the people and national resources were wasted on exhibitory projects, he said adding that in fact, past governments are responsible for the deteriorated conditions of the economy.
CM takes notice of public complaints relating to health and education sectors
He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team are making efforts for improving the national economy and the people are hopeful of their bright future due to the politics of honesty and transparency.
Usman Buzdar said that economic conditions are improving due to good governance and institutional transparency of the government sector. Due to positive steps of the government, the confidence of the investors has been restored and they have reposed their confidence over the government. Actually, the PTI government has ensured a best utilization of resources and practical measures have been taken for increasing investment.
The Chief Minister said that we are the custodian of national resources and no one will be allowed its misappropriation. The PTI has written a new history by ensuring transparent utilization of resources and we will make every effort to fulfill the expectations of the people attached with Imran Khan, he added.
In addition, Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed strong displeasure over public complaints relating to health and education sectors in different districts of the province. He has issued warnings to the district heads of both the sectors for improving their departmental performance. The Chief Minister has also decided to conduct field visits for monitoring the departmental performance as well as ensuring various facilities of life to the general public. The Chief Minister will conduct surprise inspections and he has also directed the provincial ministers and assembly members to expedite their liaison with the people so that citizens’ problems could be solved at their doorsteps.
PTI government has given priority to national interests, instead of caring for personal interests
The Chief Minister has taken strict notice of difficulties being faced by the people of various districts with regard to provision of health and educational facilities and has expressed a strong indignation over the performance of line departments while taking strict notice of their failure in timely redressal of public complaints. He has directed the elected representatives to play their active role for timely solving the public complaints adding that any undue delay will not be tolerated in provision of basic facilities of life to the people. The officer or anofficial that fails to perform will not be tolerated at any cost because provision of various facilities to the citizens in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan is the first priority of the government, he concluded.
