KARACHI: At least five suspects were arrested after security authorities conducted search operations across Karachi, late Saturday night.
A suspect was apprehended while three of his accomplices managed to escape from the scene according to police, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the hideout.
A case has been registered against the suspects.
In a similar operation conducted in Karachi’s Garden area, police arrested three suspects who were said to be involved in counts of robberies and theft.
Security authorities also recovered arms and ammunition from the site.
A case was registered against them in Jamshed Quarters police station.
Police conducted a raid in Lyari, which resulted in the apprehension of suspect Irfan, who reportedly had close ties with Uzair Baloch’s group.
