KARACHI: PIA started the process of revamping their official website in order to give customers a better online experience by providing them the facility of online reservations
As per the press release issued by the national airline, the new website will initially be uploaded on trial basis. The link to the new website will be connected with the existing homepage which will therefore facilitate the website designers get customers feedback and other website issues. The new website will formally be launched once the trail and testing period ends.
The press release also announced that the airline plans to launch the online check-in facility in the first quarter to 2017
PIA Chief Executive Officer Bernd Hildenbrand regarded the new website as a milestone and this will prove to be pivotal in improving the brand image of PIA
It is pertinent to mention that PIA has already made a smart phone application which is in testing phase and is currently available on both iOS and Android platforms The application will be formally launched with the website after receiving feedback from users.
