President Dr Arif Alvi has said that Pakistan’s desire to maintain peace in the region must not be taken as its weakness. In a tweet on Saturday, he said the nation marks the second anniversary of the foiling of India’s airstrikes. He said, “By shooting down an Indian plane in our territory, we showed our resolve and superiority against all aggressors.” The President said that Pakistan wants peace, but not at the cost of sacrificing the brutalised people of Kashmir.”
