The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) on Friday took up the presidential references against Supreme Court’s Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Sindh High Court’s Justice KK Agha.
A five-member larger SJC bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khosa and comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, Sindh High Court’s Chief Justice Ahmed Ali M Shaikh and Peshawar High Court’s Chief Justice Waqar Ahmed heard the case.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court Bar Council (SCBC) and the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) observed a strike and boycotted all court proceedings for the day.
