To commemorate Mother’s Day, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, on Sunday, paid accolades to the sacrifices rendered by mothers of martyrs. He said that no one could defeat Pakistan until such courageous women were present in this country. The army chief also acknowledged the mothers of Pakistan for the country’s progress. Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor also took to Twitter to express his sentiments, “Salute to brave mothers of our brave martyrs.” He added, “Mother is not just a physical entity.” “If so, their departure to heaven would’ve been an end to the relationship,” Maj Ghafoor wrote.
