PESHAWAR: Three Levies personnel were martyred and another injured in a blast near a checkpost in North Waziristan on Saturday.
Official sources said explosives were planted near the checkpost in Sheva area of North Waziristan.
Two of the martyred Levies personnel have been identified as Ameer Zaman and Abdul Wali, the sources added.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan condemned the incident and extended condolences to the families of the martyred personnel.
“Terrorists cannot diminish our hope through such incidents and we will eliminate terrorism. No religion allows attacks on innocent people,” the KP chief minister added.
