An earthquake of mild intensity jolted different areas here on Monday but no causality or property damages were reported due to quake. According to geological wing of PMD, tremours measuring 4.1 on Richter scale were felt in different areas of Jacobabad and Kandhkot at 2pm. People of the areas where the quake was felt rushed out of their homes, shops and other buildings in panic reciting Kalma-e-Tayyeba and verses from Holy Quran. However, no human losses or property damages were reported from any area jolted by the quake. The epi-centre of the quake was stated to be 20 kilometer north of Jacobabad, 18 kilometer inside earth crust.
