LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lifetime president Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that he wants to spend as much time as possible with ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz.
“Kulsoom has become extremely weak due to her illness and I am consistently in contact with the doctors. I want to spend maximum amount of time with her,” Nawaz Sharif said while speaking to the media in London.
Nawaz also requested the media persons, journalists and others present on occasion to pray for the speedy recovery of his wife.
The former PM added that “we have pleaded the court for exemption from appearance in cases, but we are not sure what will happen. Let’s see how things go.”
The former premier and daughter Maryam Nawaz are currently in London to visit ailing Kulsoom Nawaz.
